So Let's Talk About Our One-Star Reviews.
Out of more than 160 verified client reviews, the overwhelming majority are five stars. We have a handful of four-star reviews. We have no two-star or three-star reviews. And we have a small number of one-star reviews — every one of which deserves an explanation, because none of them came from a client.
The majority of our one-star reviews were left by former employees who were separated from HCCA for performance reasons. When a team member's work falls short of our standard, our response is to train, retrain, coach, and monitor — we invest in people to meet the bar, not simply remove them for missing it. Only when it becomes clear that someone either cannot or will not consistently deliver the work our clients deserve do we end the employment relationship. That occasionally produces a disappointed former employee. It has never produced a disappointed client.
Two additional one-star reviews came from individuals we have no record of ever serving. We responded to both publicly, asked them to contact us to clarify, and never heard back. The pattern is recognizable, and we will let readers draw their own conclusions.
One review came from a neighbor who received a door hanger as part of a local outreach effort and found it unwelcome. We responded to him directly — not just to apologize, but because he mentioned an HOA concern and we wanted to see if we could help. He did not respond . . . and that's fair. But the review reflects a marketing interaction, not a cleaning experience.
